The Care Quality Commission have launched new 'Technology in care web pages, which include guidance on using surveillance in social care locations.

The new pages are part of a series which explores the use of technology in care. CQC will look at the benefits and share examples of where they have seen it used well. And they'll be clear about the things you need to look out for.

There are 6 sections

  1. Using surveillance in your care service
  2. Set out your reasons
  3. Consult people
  4. Protect people's privacy
  5. Surveillance equipment and training
  6. Surveillance by people or their families
