Day support providers - training for the Provider Portal
Norfolk County Council's social care system CareFirst has been replaced with a new finance system, ContrOCC, and the Provider Portal.
From the end of November NCC have been processing payments to all providers of care and support through ContrOCC, and they will be adding providers of day support services to the Provider Portal from 5 February 2018. Day support providers will need to process invoices on the Portal for the period of 8 January to 4 February 2018.
In preparation for when you start to use the Provider Portal in February, NCC will support you with in person training and online training videos on their website. These are designed to familiarise your organisation with the portal and its functionality.

In person training for day support providers
NCC will then add them to their training booking system. If the session is fully booked, NCC will reply requesting a date of another session. You may send NCC details for additional employees, but they can only guarantee a spot for one person in the first instance. NCC suggest that if you have more employees who you would like to learn about the portal, that you choose a representative who can pass on their training, supported by the online training videos. NCC are offering ten training sessions across the county, each lasting three hours:
