Healthy Ageing Networking Event

Norfolk County Council, as part of its Promoting Independence Strategy, have organised a free networking event: Working together to support older people to live safe and well at home this winter.

The free networking event will explore how we can work better together to support older people to live safe and well at home this winter.

The aim of this event is to provide additional guidance around four key areas:

  • Identifying frailty
  • Support for people with dementia and their carers
  • Falls and home safety
  • Loneliness and social isolation

This event will give you an opportunity to share your stories, learning and best practice with a wide range of professionals working in similar roles across Norfolk and Waveney. The latest Assistive Technology and equipment will also be on display.

The event is being held on Friday 2nd November in the Cranworth Room, at County Hall. There is a choice of two sessions: 09:00-12:30 or 13:00-16:30.

To register to attend please visit: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/PromotingIndependence/

Please note that the content of the event is identical in the morning and the afternoon and so you only need to attend one session. There are 40 places for each session, which will be allocated on a first come basis.
