Help Skills for Care transform NMDS-SC
Skills for Care are looking for help with their re-design of the National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC)
The National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC) is 10 years old and was designed and built when technology and digital worlds were very different.
It’s an important part of the work of Skills for Care and the data held in this online system is relied on heavily by the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). Because of their expertise and experience, the DHSC has asked Skills for Care to redesign a brand new NMDS-SC. A lot of work has already been undertaken. They have done a survey, telephone interviews, observations in people’s workplaces, lab-based research and testing, and a ‘show and tell’ session.
They’re working in short bursts: building something, testing to see if it works, making changes and testing again, so they need a good supply of volunteers at very short notice. This is where you can help.
