Making Safeguarding Personal - Dr Adi Cooper’s presentation now available

Earlier this month Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board welcomed Dr Adi Cooper to Norfolk. She gave two seminar presentations on Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP), which were well attended by partners and generated good debate about how well we are embedding MSP into safeguarding practice.

Dr Cooper is a former Director of Adult Social Services for Sutton, and Independent Chair of the Haringay Safeguarding Adults Board. She was awarded an OBE in 2016, recognising her significant contribution to Adult Social Services. Dr Cooper is now a nationally recognised academic in the field of adult safeguarding and has published numerous papers and more recently a book entitled Safeguarding Adults Under the Care Act. This book is a must have for anyone working in or interested in safeguarding adults.
