Music Mirrors workshop

Memories are a large part of who we are. But memories can fade – it’s a normal part of ageing and can happen with illness, accident or dementia. A Music Mirror is a brief life story in someone’s own words, with sounds and music embedded to spark memories later.

This workshop will explore how music helps to preserve memories and identity, and give a practical introduction to making and using Music Mirrors as simple written additions to care plans.

Norfolk and Suffolk Care Support, in partnership with Music Mirrors are holding a workshop on Monday 27 November in Norwich. The charge for the workshop is just £20 to cover costs and places are limited.Teas and coffees will be provided upon arrival.

The workshop will be facilitated by Heather Edwards from Music Mirrors
