New network for Registered Managers in the Dereham area
A new network has been formed for Registered Managers in Dereham and the surrounding area. The first meeting is on Monday 12 March.
The network is being supported by Skills for Care and aims to offer Registered Managers in Dereham and the surrounding area the opportunity to share best practice and discuss experiences and issues in a safe space. They will be arranging for guest speakers to come along to keep everyone up to date on topics chosen by the group. They hope the network will act as a local support hub for managers in the area; the role of Registered Manager often comes with a lot of pressure and isolation and the best people to understand how complex your role can be is other registered managers.
The network is aimed at registered managers and deputy / assistant managers working in adult social care.
The focus for the meeting on 12th March is: QA / audit cycles, including best practice in terms of care plans.
They will be joined by Irene Karrouze or Kate Wyatt, Care Home Practitioners from South Norfolk CCG . They are coming along to share some top tips and answer questions in terms of QA / audit and care plans in adult social care - so please take any burning questions / challenges you have, as well as your own tips on what works for you, as these will be really useful to share with others.
