Norfolk County Council eBrokerage tool

Norfolk County Council will be demonstrating their new tools for residential and nursing homes at upcoming residential and nursing home engagement events

One of the tools they are developing is eBrokerage, an electronic system for making care placements. They will be moving all care brokering to this system and providing every home in Norfolk and Waveney with information, training, onboarding and support.

eBrokerage better will enable NCC to find a match for a service user’s care and support requirements, and then securely advertise those requirements to appropriate providers. Providers can then submit offers online, enabling the Council to select the best offer for the client. The system automatically communicates the outcome to all providers that have submitted an offer.

eBrokerage is an important step towards NCC replacing current manual brokerage process with an effective and efficient electronic process. It builds on and will replace their Bed Tracker, which for the past year has enabled care and nursing homes to quickly share vacancies with our brokerage service online.

You can expect a full onboarding service over the coming months which will introduce you to the system, ensure home profile and contact details are current and correct, and give you confidence in this new way of working.

To find out more please attend one of NCC's residential and nursing home engagement events this month.

You can find further information on the eBrokerage page on the Council's website.
