Updated Bed Tracker launched
Providers can now enter vacancies on Norfolk County Council’s new Bed Tracker, their relaunched residential capacity monitoring tool.
Bed Tracker is used by social services and health to identify vacancies across Norfolk and Waveney, giving you the ability to inform Norfolk County Council and the NHS of your vacancies at the click of a button.
60% of care and nursing homes in Norfolk have already benefitted from quickly and easily sharing essential vacancy information. This information has enabled NCC to arrange care placements quicker than ever before and provide Norfolk’s citizens with better information about the homes available in the market.
Norfolk County Council recognise the important role that systems like this can play in transforming how they work with independent providers. To that end they will be prioritising placements with providers who are using the bed tracker on at least a weekly basis.
Their relaunched Bed Tracker makes it easier than ever to submit your vacancies, tell NCC about the types of care package you have capacity to support and when you could next accept a hospital discharge. There is no set up or signing in. All you need is your CQC location ID and one minute to fill in the online form.
