What’s Safeguarding? Keep Safe sessions for service users

Norfolk County Council is offering a number of free sessions which will be delivered by their safeguarding training provider St Thomas Training.

These sessions will offer a safe and supportive environment, for adults with care and support needs, to understand that they have the right to live free of harm, neglect and exploitation and

  • To recognise when they may be being harmed or exploited
  • To know who to talk to about what they want or need to keep safe
  • How the people working with them will enable them to exercise choice and control over their lives and ensure that safeguarding is personal to them

The session will be designed to meet the particular needs of your service users and the timings are negotiable.

Organisations will need to provide a suitable venue and enable service users to attend and participate.
