NMDS-SC soon to become ASC-Workforce Data Set - UPDATE
At 5.30pm on Thursday 18 July 2019 Skills for Care's National Minimum Dataset for Social Care (NMDS-SC) will close. This will be followed by a period where they will will be migrating everyone’s data into a new service, Adult Social Care (ASC) Workforce Data Set. During this transition period you will not have access to your account.
Skills for Care have e-mailed your primary user to tell you more about this change.
ASC-WDS will collect the same data and perform the same role for yourselves, for Skills for Care, for the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), for the Care Quality Commission and for local authorities.
They will start e-mailing account holders from 5 August 2019 to advise you that your ASC Workforce Data Set accounts are ready to be accessed and it is expected that this will happen in tranches over that week. Please be reassured that all data will be migrated to the new service and Skills for Care hope this short period of shut-down will not inconvenience you too much. Once this email has been received you will be able to log in to the new service using your current username and password.
If you intend to claim Workforce Develoipment Funding, you are encouraged to begin to prepare your data now, so it is ready to update, and to check the WDF eligibility requirements to make sure you have all the required information to hand. They can find the information about ASC Workforce Data Set requirements here.
